North Fremantle Bowling Club
Everything old is new again! New logo, old name... once again we are called the 'North Fremantle Bowling Club' ...and the Bowling Club is where it’s all at – your centre for community life in North Freo -- recreation, amusement and enrichment.
The North Fremantle Bowling Club is a licensed facility offering bowls, tennis, dance floor, bbq, bar, new kitchen and professional quality lights and sound system.
TENNIS COURTS ARE NOW CLOSED FOR MAJOR MAINTENANCE
The tennis courts will be closed for approx 2 months for major maintenance. Tasks will include verti-mowing, verti-draining, fertilizing, watering, top-dressing then we need good growing weather to promote a healthy surface. Volunteer help during the top-dressing process will be called for later in the month, so stay tuned for the date.
WHAT'S ON?
FRIDAY 3 SEPTEMBER…'THE STARTER BAR', FROM 6PM…Featuring acoustic live music by a variety of bands and solo performers, the Starter Bar is a great way to start the weekend. This week, acoustic bluesman Johnny Bluebone from Denmark is on the bill at 6.30pm.
SATURDAY 4 SEPTEMBER…RHYTHMFIX SATURDAY DRUM CLASSES…'Drumdance' is a beginner class run by Martin Phillips from 11-12.30 and 'Sabar drumming' with master drummer Djibril Diagne. from 1-2pm. For more information see website...BAREFOOT BOWLS & BBQ...as usual from 2pm, weather permitting.

North Fremantle Community Arts Development (NoFCAD) Inc
...supporting community arts projects, specifically the children’s string orchestra, The String Beans, its sister string beginner program, the Bean Sprouts, an intermediate chamber group, and the Fremantle Children's Choir.
