A community arts organisation
North Fremantle Community Arts Development Inc -- NoFCAD -- is a community organisation set up in 2004 to promote and support local endeavour in the arts.
Currently the organisation’s main role is to operate The String Beans children’s string orchestra, which was formed by the North Fremantle Community Association in 2000, and its associated programs, the Bean Sprouts beginners program, the Harvest ensemble for advanced players, the Fremantle Children's Choir and, being piloted in 2010, the Buds, a starter ensemble to prepare less experienced players for the ensemble experience.

Got an arts project?
There is great potential for NoFCAD to support other projects too, through auspicing grants or other forms of advocacy. We keep North Fremantle in our name because that is where we started and where we are based... but projects don't have to be in our neighbourhood.Got a proposal? Contact us.
NoFCAD’s committee meets three or four times a year with an annual general meeting held every April/May. If you are interested please have a look at the minutes of our last meeting or of our AGM.
