Intermediate ensemble to continue in 2010

NoFCAD has started an intermediate (middle school age) ensemble, for students in years 7-10.

The repertoire of The Harvest Chamber Ensemble is more challenging and the peer group is a bit older... but the emphasis is still on having fun while making beautiful music.

Rehearsals will take place on Thursday afternoons from 5 - 6pm at the North Fremantle Hall.

This is the group for you if:

• you want to continue playing in a community orchestra after you graduate from the String Beans;
• you want to play your instrument with others outside of your school with people your age; and/or
• you want to play music that's a bit more challenging, without committing to long three-hour rehearsals.

If you will be in year 7, 8, 9 or 10 in 2010 and you are interested in joining the intermediate orchestra, contact us, or download a registration form and post it to us.

We look forward to a future of providing more and more complexity in terms of the challenges and satisfaction to be enjoyed by more participants of different ages. Maybe an adult orchestra is next!
